What is the monthly company secretary retainer fee for?
The retainer fee charge by company secretarial firm may be vary according to different secretarial firm. However for us basically there are four main reasons why we are charging company secretary fee of RM50 a month.

According to Companies Acts 1965 Section 139(1) each and every Sdn Bhd (private limited company) has to have at least one qualified company secretary. Thus the RM50 a month is for the appointment of the company secretary.

The RM50 a month also inclusive of the fee for updating of the company statutory record from time to time. For example register of members, register of directors, manager and secretaries, register of charges etc.
